IDEF’23, 16^th International Defence Industry Fair

BMC Power, which was established in March 2017 to develop power groups, one of the most important strategic goals of our country, with domestic and national capabilities, has exhibited its engines and transmissions developed and produced by 100% Turkish engineers as a result of intensive R&D studies at the IDEF 2023 16^th International Defence Industry Fair.

BMC Power has presented its 4-cylinder 400 HP TUNA engine, which is produced with domestic and national facilities and recently shipped and integrated into the Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicle VURAN 4x4, its 6-cylinder 600 HP AZRA engine developed for APCs and military tractors, and its 8-cylinder 1000 HP UTKU engine and transmission developed for tracked light armored combat vehicles up to 45 tons and the FIRTINA Howitzer at IDEF'23.

BMC POWER IS TO UNVEIL AZRA, MARINE ENGINE, AT IDEF 2023 FOR THE FIRST TIME

Marine engine AZRA developed for marine vessels by BMC Power, with its marine version, have met visitors at IDEF 2023 for the first time.

Marine engine AZRA with in-line type 6-cylinder and 4-stroke diesel engine technology has a turbocharging and air cooling aspiration system with a volume of 12 liters. With its common rail injection type and water-cooled structure, marine engine AZRA will close an important gap in the sector at the command of the blue homeland.

BMC Power has signed important strategic projects with the signing ceremonies held at the IDEF Fair. The Power Pack Mass Production Project BATU between BMC Power and BMC, the First Domestic Motorized Generator Development Project with İŞBİR Elektrik, the Electric Motor and Alternator Development Project for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles with WAT Electric Motors, the Hybrid Power Pack Development Project for 20 Ton and Above Tracked Armored Vehicles with FNSS, and the Engine Line Autonomous Quality Control System with Radarsan have been signed at ceremonies to be held.
